Trying gluten now?

Hi friends, I'm writing from my iPad because the hubby needs the computer so no fancy pictures this time
Not that I always have fancy photos....sorta been slacking in that department. I need to be inspired!

Back to topic, which is the devil food for me, gluten.
I've been gluten free for a year now and according to the doc I can start re introducing it to my diet to see how my body reacts to it. It's not an allergy that I have, but an intolerance. And if you need more info about the difference, let me know and I can talk more about it at another time.
I've been eagerly awaiting for the day to have a bagel again. Or a sandwich from panera. Maybe onion rings! Croissants, oh how the fluffy pastry section in general sounds sooo good. But the thing is most gluten filled foods also have dairy and eggs involved. And those are still a big no no for me. Bummer.
But I do live near a vegan bakery, and I bought vegan cupcakes to try.
The thing is now the time is here I'm scared.
Yeah, I'm scared of gluten.
It could make me sick for a couple days.
Or maybe just a couple hours.
I don't know.
But I do know that I won't find out unless I try. So give me some motivation and encouragement as I embark on this adventure into gluten land again. The ride could be a bumpy and mysterious ride, but I'm sure it will be very tasty at first. :-)

Anyone refraining from a certain food that they miss and haven't had for months? Please share!
